The International Society of Biomechanics in Sports, one of the most important and active organizations of biomechanics in the world, holds annual conference to provide opportunities for scholars to share their new findings and communicate with each other. And these conferences are very important for the development of biomechanical research in sports.

The China Society of Sport Biomechanics will be the host of the XXIII International Symposium of Biomechanics in Sports in Aug. 22-27, 2005 in Beijing. We sincerely invite your company to participate in this international symposium and to display your products to the world by joining us as a Commercial Exhibitor or a Sponsor.

This is a unique event with a high scientific profile

Sport biomechanics organizations have developed steadily in recent years throughout the world, particularly in Asia. The symposium, first hosted in Beijing, will surely attract more participants over the world, particularly the Asian area.

It is expected that over 300 scientists will attend the meeting to share, discuss and analyse the latest discoveries of sport biomechanics. The meeting is also attended by delegates from a wide range of sub-disciplines such as sport, physical education, and fitness and health etc.

Being, the host city of 2008 Olympics, is now a focal point of the world attention. Obviously, the symposium will provide one with a great opportunity to strengthen its marketing power in Asia. Your company will benefit a great deal from this event by taking part as a Products Exhibitor or a Sponsor by donating support or funds.

Major Sponsor

The Symposium organizers will award a sole individual or a company with the Major Sponsor title. Individual or company who provides the largest support to the symposium before the deadline (November 15, 2004) would be acknowledged as the major sponsor. The sponsorship should be above US$15,000. The major sponsor will get rewards as follows:

1. The major sponsor's logo will appear on the surface of the rucksacks distributed to each participant.

2. The logo will also appear at the noticeable places during the welcome banquet, opening ceremony, farewell banquet, and the main conference spot.

3. The major sponsor's advertisement will be put on the Symposium Home Page.

4. One-page advertisement will be added in the program booklet, and first two pages of the symposium proceedings are also available for advertisement.

5. A total number of 1000 copies of the symposium proceedings with approximately 1000 pages in each copy will be distributed to all participants. In addition, the proceedings will be distributed to certain libraries and research and education institutes.

6. Two exhibition booths with 6 square meters each are available and free of charge to the major sponsor.

Those who are not awarded as the major sponsor will enjoy the most of the rewards for the major sponsor except the items 1 and 2 listed above.

Sponsors

The sponsorships must be over US$3500 and obtain the rewards as follows:

1. Each sponsor will have advertisement on the Symposium Home page.

2. One-page advertisement will be added to the program booklet and the back inside page of proceedings.

3. One exhibition booth with 6 square meters is available and free of charge to each sponsor.

In addition, if you only want the first two rewarding items, the sponsorship will be reduced to US$2000.

The agreement below for sponsors should be signed and returned on or before November 15, 2004 to ensure placement of the advertisements in the brochures. Please enclose photo-ready copies of the advertisements that will appear in the programs, and proceedings.

Products Exhibition

The Products exhibition will be located near the foyer of the lecture theatres. In the sympo-sium schedule there will be a 45-minute session to view the exhibition and posters for each of the morning and afternoon sessions and a 90-minute break for serving the lunch and viewing the exhibitions and posters. The exhibition area will be completely isolated from the general public and trained security guard will patrol round the clock so the products on exhibition are secured.

The basic rate for a product exhibit is US$2000 for 6 square meters. The company representative will be entitled to all the benefits offered to the delegates, morning and afternoon tea, lunch and dinner, satchel with program and proceedings, reception banquet, and all social activities. If there is more than one representative for the exhibition, each additional representative will be charged US$275. Exceed space will be charged at the rate of US$300 per square meter. The submission of agreement for exhibition should be returned on or before November 15, 2004.

In addition, if one exhibition booth (6 square meters) is taken , it is legitimate for one company to exhibit its products. If two are taken, products of three companies can be put on show. And no limit if three booths are taken.

Once the applications of exhibition or sponsorship have been accepted, each exhibitor and sponsor is required to pay a deposit up to 25% of the entire payment within one month after the notification and the rest must be paid by May 1, 2005.
